    Three spheres, one Constitution

    Chapter 3 of the Constitution sets up government as national, provincial and local spheres — “distinctive, interdependent and interrelated.” This is how many seats each one holds.

    400 National Assembly members Elected every five years by proportional representation.

    How we keep this honest

    1. Only what's already public.

      Parliamentary records, the Register of Members' Interests, IEC results, municipal council minutes, the Government Gazette. Nothing leaked, nothing scraped from private accounts.

    2. Every fact has a footnote.

      If we can't link to where it came from, it doesn't go on the roll.

    3. The office, not the home.

      Constituency offices and official contact details only. No home addresses, ID numbers or family details — POPIA applies to politicians too.

    4. Wrong is fixable.

      Anyone, including the person listed, can send a correction with a source. Changes are dated and kept visible.
